The Traveling Navi

Thursday, October 19, 2006

After a good nights rest we had an early start 6:00 am, took 1 and a half hours to travel down this road:

If this was a paved road then it probably would have taken 30 minutes max.

This was a very rural school, bu
t the kids were so sweet, amazing.

Yoko also had an art class with one of the grades at this school, the kids were such amazing artists, the color pencils and paper were like treasures to them. They usually write on slates with chalk.

And so ended our first adventure here in Cambodia, of course we had quite a few near misses on the road home, but the Lord kept us and we are still alive and ready for more. During these 2 days we distributed over 650 books.
The need here is great, the potential for God to do a miracle is astronomical.

Kari, Mia and Tia, I miss you all so much, I think of you every night and every moment during the day when my thoughts are free, which is not that often, but when I do think of you they are quality thoughts. I love you.

Until next post...
